“I’ve always loved the sense that a person retains a spark of life through the collecting and treasuring of their stories. We’ve met a lot of amazing people (and drunk a lot of tea!) throughout this project, collecting memories that are personal and touching, funny and fascinating. For me, textiles are a potent signifier of human experience - so I hope that I can do justice to these memories through object and stitch.”
